Mortality Tables

A mortality table is an actuarial table based on actuarial statistics taken over a number of years.  The Actuarial Conversion Tool (A.C.T.) offers eight mortality tables to choose from in the conversion factor calculation:

  1. 1994 GAR, Projected to 2002 by Scale AA
  2. 1983 Group Annuity Mortality (50% male, 50% female)
  3. 1983 Group Annuity Mortality (Male)
  4. 1983 Group Annuity Mortality (Female)
  5. 1984 Uninsured Pensioner Mortality
  6. 1971 Group Annuity Mortality (Male)
  7. 1971 Group Annuity Mortality (Female)
  8. 1965 Projected Annuity Mortality

If a combination of mortality rates from two different tables is desired, a custom table can be built for the primary annuitant and/or joint annuitant by selecting the mortality tables for each and specifiying a blending percentage.
